וחיידקים אשר מצריך טיפול וניקיון מיוחד בגיל שמונה ימים, יש בערלה מעט מאד כלי דם
ועצבים, ולכן עצם ההורדה איננה כרוכה בכאב וסיבוך מיוחד ובהחלט משאיר את הילד מחוסן
יותר נגד מחלות וגירויים .
